Substitute Services

 

 

The Human Resources Department publishes a Substitute Teacher List for the use of public schools within Glenn County. To begin the onboarding process for Substitute Teaching in Glenn County please follow the steps below.

 
1. Complete the online Onboarding packet at:   Certificated Substitute Onboarding Packet
2. Once the onboarding process is completed and reviewed you will be added to Vector solutions for the mandated training. Follow the link in the email you receive from Vector Solutions to complete trainings. 
3. Call (530) 934-6575 Ext. 3000 to schedule a live scan appointment. The cost for Live scan is as follows:
$69.00 for GCOE fingerprints only $118 if both Commission on teacher credentialing and GCOE fingerprints are required (CTC fingerprints are required if you do not have a certificate of clearance OR you do not have a permit/credential with CTC). 
 
** Please note: There will also be a charge for the certificate of clearance. Fingerprint clearance through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is required from every applicant prior to the Commission’s issuance of any credential, permit, certificate, or waiver.
Live scan will be done at Glenn County Office of Education at 311 S. Villa Ave. Willows, CA 95988
4. To expedite your process please bring any missing documents that were not attached in the onboarding process with you to your live scan appointment. If needed transcripts can be mailed directly to Glenn County Office of Education at 311 S. Villa Ave. Willows, Ca 95988
 
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO TURN IN TO GCOE: 
  • Valid Driver’s License or Identification Card
  • Social Security Card
  • Voided check or bank documentation for direct deposit
  • TB Test/Assessment
  • Credential or Substitute Permit - if you have one
  • Official sealed transcripts - if you do not have a credential or Substitute permit
