Payroll
The payroll department administers Glenn County Office of Education’s payroll activities, including but not limited to the following:
- Processing Employee Payments: Handling the payment of employee monthly salaries and monthly supplemental payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate compensation.
- Maintaining Payroll Records: Keeping detailed and up-to-date employee payroll records for accurate reporting and audit purposes.
- Managing Retirement Plans: Overseeing contributions and administration for retirement plans such as PERS, STRS, 403b and 457b.
- Payroll Oversight: Preparing and auditing payroll, including retirement contributions for both County Office and District personnel, to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Issuing W-2s: Preparing and distributing W-2 forms as part of the annual tax reporting process.
