The CCRR Alternative Payment Program (APP)

Our mission is to ensure that all children have access to quality early learning and care, and that working families can achieve economic self-sufficiency. The APP turns this mission into reality by offering direct financial support for child care.

Program Goal: Affordability & Choice

We address the high cost of child care—a significant barrier for many—while fostering a flexible, parent-driven system.

The Financial Bridge:

We provide monthly subsidies directly to child care providers on behalf of eligible parents who are:

  • Working or seeking employment
  • Enrolled in education or vocational training

This support stabilizes both the family and the local child care workforce.
