Senior Nutrition
Glenn County Senior Nutrition provides nutritious and delicious meals to all seniors 60 years of age and older. We offer congregate sites in both Orland and Willows for seniors to sit down and enjoy a meal with the socialization of other seniors. We also offer home delivered meals to those who need it.
Our mission is to enable seniors to maintain maximum health, independence, and dignity by providing nutritious and delicious meals cooked on site and served hot.
To be eligible for congregate meals, the individual must be:
- Age 60 or older
To be eligible for home delivered meals, the individual must be:
- Age 60 or older
- Homebound due to illness, disability, or isolation.
- Spouse of a home-delivered meal recipient.
- Determined to be in need of service within the policies set by the Area Agency on Aging and the nutrition service provider.
A donation of $3.00 or more per meal is requested, but not mandatory to receive meals. Our primary concern is making sure the senior citizens of Glenn County have access to a hot, nutritious, and delicious meal regardless of their situation.
We currently provide meals at both Orland and Willows locations listed below.

Tai Chi is a gentle, continuous slow movement exercise that improves balance, muscle tone, and flexibility. Tai chi helps with poor blood circulation, high blood pressure, arthritis, back pain, and digestive and nervous disorders. It also helps you strengthen your physical and mental health as well as increase longevity.
This fitness program includes a warmup and gentle routine that can be done while sitting in a chair.
Wear comfortable clothing.
There is no charge for the classes.
Come and bring all your friends to try this program. It will improve your health, create tranquility in your nervous system, and will be a lot of fun.
