Employee Spotlight

Classified and Certificated Employee of the Month

At Glenn County Office of Education, the Employees of the Month are not just individuals who excel in their roles; they are shining examples of unwavering dedication and exceptional service. They go above and beyond their day-to-day duties as educators, embodying the spirit of mentorship and support for both our youth and colleagues. These outstanding individuals are true agents of change, making a profound difference in the lives of those they touch. Through their commitment, creativity, and compassion, they inspire us all to reach for greater heights and contribute to a brighter future for our educational community.

In our continued commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and acknowledgment, we are introducing a nomination process that allows peers and administrators to nominate colleagues who consistently go above and beyond their roles. We believe that our employees are the heart of our organization, and this is an excellent opportunity to showcase the outstanding dedication and hard work that you all put in.

Nomination Process

1. **Nomination Form:** Linked to this email, you will find a nomination form that can be used for nominating both Certificated and Classified positions. This form can be used by anyone within the organization to nominate a colleague they believe deserves recognition. Link to nomination form

2. **Submission Deadline:** Nominations can be submitted at any time using the nominations form.

3. **Selection Process:** A committee of representatives will review nominations and select one Certificated Employee of the Month and one Classified Employee of the Month.

**Employee of the Month Benefits:**

The selected Employees of the Month will receive the following recognition:

1. A spotlight feature sent out in our company-wide email.
2. Recognition on our official social media platforms and on our website.
3. A certificate of achievement.
4. Staff recognized as the Employee of the Month will be automatically entered into consideration for the title of Employee of the Year. Those chosen as Employees of the Year will be celebrated at a county-wide dinner event. (More information on this to follow)

We believe that this initiative will not only showcase the exemplary efforts of our team members but also inspire others to strive for excellence.

We encourage you all to participate by submitting nominations. It's a chance to acknowledge the remarkable contributions of your peers and colleagues who make a difference in our organization every day.

Thank you for being an integral part of our Glenn County Office of Education family. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of our exceptional employees together.
