The Glenn Adult Program provides lifelong educational learning opportunities and services

to Glenn County communities and beyond.

           We offer a variety of classes to help adults complete or expand their education, 

acquire job skills, and enjoy personal growth.

GED Testing and Pearson VUE® Industry Exams

The Glenn Adult Program is an authorized HISET Testing Center and an authorized Pearson VUE® Testing Center. 

Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Centers (PVTC) provide on-site, on-demand testing for certification and select professional licensure exams. Pearson VUE® delivers certification and licensure tests through the world’s largest network of test centers in 175 countries across the world. This now includes Computer Based GED® Testing.

 Industry exams include , CBEST, RICA, American Board of Internal Medicine ABIM, California Preliminary Administrative Credential Examination CPACE, Microsoft, IBM, Cisco Systems, AppleCare and many, many more.

All testing is now computer based. Anyone wishing to take the GED, must first create a Pearson VUE® account. To create your account, please click on the following link.                                                         
Once created, you will schedule and purchase all your GED tests through your MyGED account. When you schedule your test, you will be asked to select a testing center near you. We would love to have you select us.

We are now an approved HISET Testing Center!
Passing the HISET exam shows that you have attained the academic knowledge and proficiency equivalent to those of a high school graduate. The HISET exam has also been aligned to the Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE) College and Career Readiness (CCR) Standards for Adult Education that were released in April 2013. Since the HISET exam measures essential components of the CCR Standards for Adult Education, it helps identify the areas where you are career and college ready. A score of 15 on each sub-test demonstrates college and career readiness.

Glenn Adult Program

Welcome to the Glenn Adult Program! (GAP)

We offer classes that meet your educational needs. Our enrollment process is simple. Just stop by our Orland or Willows sites to enroll.

While at registration, you will learn all about the classes we offer. We will assist you with registration, provide you with information on how to obtain your GED/HiSet or High School Diploma. You will also have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

It is important that you have a clear understanding of what your options are before you begin your journey to improve your English skills, writing skills, High School Diploma or GED/HiSet requirements.

Whether you are interested in earning a High School Diploma, GED/HiSet, enhancing job skills, or just educational enrichment, we are here to serve you.
