Licensed Vocational Nurse (Part-Time Temporary): 5-6 Hours a Day; $18.43 - $22.43 per hour; Pro-rated Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits; Closing Date - July 18, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.

Special Education Instructional Aide (Temporary-Special Circumstance Aide): 3.9 Hours a Day; 1-3 positions in North County; $11.12 - $13.55 per hour; Closing Date - July 22, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.

Speech & Language Specialist (Substitute): August - December 2008; 72 Days - 7 Hours a Day; $30.04 - $33.92 Per Hour; Open Until Filled.

Due to the adoption of Assembly Bill 1610 and 1612, all classified and certificated substitutes, probationary and temporary applicants offered employment will be required to have fingerprint clearance for conducting background investigation through the Department of Justice. The final hiring decision will be made upon receipt of background information.

Instructional ParaprofessionalTop of Page

Glenn County Office of Education requires applicants for instructional paraprofessional positions to meet one of these requirements:
  • Associate (or higher) degree
  • 48 college units; or
  • Assessment of knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and mathematics.
