Resource Specialist Program (RSP)  Top of Page

The Resource Specialist provides instructional services to students in order to implement the Individual Education Plan (IEP). The majority of the student's day is spent in the regular program.

Special Day Classes (SCD)Top of Page

Students with more intensive educational needs may require Special Day Classes in a self-contained classroom. Placement in Special Day Classes shall occur only when the nature of the handicap is such that education in regular classes with the use of supplementary aides and services cannot be achieved satisfactorily. Typically 50% or more of the student's day is spent in Special Day Classes.

Transition Partnership Program (TPP)Top of Page

The Transition Partnership Program is designed to assist eligible young adults with disabilities in connecting to post-secondary vocational preparation and long-term employment opportunities. Students receive individual career counseling, job search, tutoring, and support for post-secondary training and/or job placement. To be eligible, students must have a documented disability and a completed application. Services are available two years prior to exiting high school and up to two years after exiting high school. The Glenn County Office of Education and the Chico Department of Rehabilitation jointly operate the program.
