Carl D. Perkins Vocational & Technical Education FundTop of Page

The Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act Fund provides Glenn County educational agencies with funding for the improvement of secondary vocational and technical education programs. It provides support in:
  • Strengthening the academic, vocational and technical education curriculum
  • Emphasis on workplace needs and understanding of all aspects of an industry
  • Support services and activities
  • Staff development
  • Evaluation, assessment and accountability

Carl Perkins funding supports students in grades 9-12 and is jointly administered through a consortium that includes Glenn County Office of Education, Hamilton Union High, Orland Unified, Willows Unified, Princeton Joint Unified, and Stony Creek Joint Unified School Districts.

Local activities in 2000-2004 included:
