Youth Council

The Youth Council is made up of high school students from all over Glenn County. A student must attend two meetings to become an official member. The Youth Council reflects diverse experiences and opinions and welcomes the voices of all.

The Youth Council program views young people as being competent and capable citizens who have an interest in their community. Youth development is not only discussed in Youth Council meetings, it is practiced! Youth Council members participate in various community organizations, especially with organizations concerned with youth issues such as:
  • alcohol
  • tobacco
  • drugs
  • traffic safety
  • violence
The Council meets every other Sunday at William Finch Learning Center North.
