PurposeTop of Page

The purpose of Opportunity School is to provide students in seventh, eighth and ninth grades, who are at risk of dropping out of school due to difficulties in academic skill development, regular attendance and/or behavioral/social challenges, with a supportive environment that uses specialized curriculum, instruction, guidance and counseling to help overcome barriers to learning. 

The school provides a comprehensive academic program that facilitates positive self-esteem, confidence and personal growth with the goal of helping students return to traditional school programs.
